Two different times this month an event has been canceled and I’ve joyfully deleted it from my calendar app. May is the month when I try to schedule nothing extra and smile at the chaos. School will be out soon! Perhaps that’s just more chaos, but it’s different chaos at least.
A studio uniform | there’s a reason some people wear the same outfit every day
A week of outfits + a colorful house | i enjoy so much from A Cup of Jo
Bible Project Fellowship | if I didn’t have a job I really enjoyed, I’d be applying for this asap (Update: this position must have been filled because the link is not active. Still, just imagine doing research and writing for Bible Project.)
Mocktail/Cocktail | this has yet to disappoint
Bringing Your Full Voice to Life | Inés Velásquez-McBryde guest-lectured for my preaching class and she shared this TedTalk.
An IG follow | i know I quit Instagram, but if you’re there you should be listening to Joel Muddamalle
The Poetry of Pastries | a glimpse into the life of my internet friend Breanne Rodgers
Ted Lasso, Holy Fool | a NYT article by Tish Harrison Warren (should be unlocked)
Cuban-Style Black Beans | i made these for small group and i’m obsessed. A super cheap meal too
Mother’s Day Sermon (or not) | Mother’s Day in church is usually my least favorite. I loved the service at our church
Because we’re still talking about yoga pants | really, just how?
The World Rising by Alice Walker | we were assigned to read a poem, any poem, for my preaching class. This is the one I found (in a book on my shelf)
Get outside | i hiked a well-known local trail on Friday and it was worth the climb.
A remembrance | Tim Keller died on Friday. Jemar Tisby wrote a reflection. So did Katelyn Beaty.
