Thanks for sharing this, it’s the encouragement I needed today. I have a 3 year old and a baby and it can feel so frustrating trying to talk to the 3 year old about faith, for all the reasons you described. It’s nice to know it’s normal, I’m not alone, and it doesn’t mean things won’t turn out well. I find it so easy to feel slightly panicked instead of rest on the grace of God!

Yes! I think a panicky feeling about sharing our faith with our kids should be a warning light but it's so easy to get there. I paused to pray for you and your children!

Thank you for this encouragement. I don't have kids of my own (yet, hopefully) but I teach Sunday School and I've had many times where no one seems to be listening, there's no engagement and the answers are more about making each other laugh than being correct. It's hard because I know there are some who don't get the kind of discipleship you show your kids at home. But ultimately all we can do is hold onto that grace that comes from God, and ask Him to work with the little we can give. Thank you!

YES. It works in that context as well and what you are doing is so important. Thank you for showing up consistently there.
