Really excited for this. The day you are a pastor on Mars is the day I can die peacefully. Though I’d personally love for you to NOT have to move to Mars in order to be a pastor. LOL. Love you Lisa!
If I weren't in two theology classes already this semester, I would absolutely be in on this book club. There aren't enough experiences for adults, women especially, to study theology outaide of school.
As someone who also had a career shake-up recently, I say bravo for taking baby steps into the unknown toward whatever your vocation looks like next.
I’m so proud of you. And your footnotes cracked me up. “Retired” 😂 ps. I could totally see you being the first woman pastor on Mars. 🚀
The footnotes are my favorite part of Substack haha And thanks. I truly hope to remain on this planet though!
What an exciting new adventure! Loved your words and needed them more than I even realized.
Thanks, Krista. I'm glad they helped you :)
Lisa, I love all of this - all of it. My schedule is full in this season, but I’ve screenshotted 4th Thursdays and hope to meet you there! 🤞🏻
Kensi! I would love for you to be there!
Haven’t done a book club with you since Reading While Black, I am SO excited ❤️❤️
Yay! We're going to have so much fun!
This sounds like so much fun! I am already over-extended in this season, but I’d love to join in the future!
I'm already planning to do more of them!

Love you, Sammie! I'd also love to stay on this planet ha!

I resonate with the complexities of trying to wisely integrate my beliefs about women in ministry with my work and church relationships.
It can be really tough. I stopped and prayed for you.
