I read the Mistborn trilogy this year and I’m so glad I did. Got the Wax&Wayne trilogy for Christmas, so I can keep going in 2023!

I read the Mistborn Trilogy years ago. I'd love to circle back around to it!

Love that you don’t set a specific number for your reading goals but instead just “read widely”! My favorite books this year were Unseen by Sara Hagerty and Becoming Elisabeth Elliot by Ellen Vaughn. 🤍

Thanks for sharing your favorites, Alecia. I haven't read those but I keep hearing the titles.

So many great titles on this list. Glad to see you enjoyed A Curious Faith. Also love that a couple of these titles appear to be seminary reads.

I gravitated to crime fiction as a respite from academic reading this year. My most memorable fiction reads were outside that genre though: Black Cake, Lessons in Chemistry, Matrix, Let’s Not Do That Again, Small Things Like These, Dearly Beloved.

The book that resulted in the biggest mindset change for me: Start with Hello by Shannan Martin.

Crime fiction! How interesting. I tend to get freaked out if I do much of that. It sounds like you read a lot of fiction this year. Martin's book is on my list. I love her work!
